I began to smell a strong musty odor when I went down into my basement. When I went to the store I picked up a few disposable dehumidifier containers. They are supposed to last a month but when I went back downstairs a few days later they were completely full of water. Somehow my basement has taken on a lot of water that I did not even realize. My husband said he thinks that water has been coming in because of the rains, but we should look into using basement waterproofing products to waterproof the underground walls so it doesn’t get any worse.
