My spouse and I are newlyweds and we having been saving diligently to purchase our first home. After living in an apartment for a year, we are finding that the combination of our things from two separate apartments is getting to be a bit overwhelming. After work, I always check the mail since I get home before my husband and noticed a letter from our bank. I opened the letter and found we were preapproved for a mortgage. Confused, I decided to wait until we sat down for dinner to ask my husband. Come to find out, the home of our dreams is going to be our one year anniversary present.
