Dumbell exercises and bodyweight exercises are the only thing you need to get a great workout at home.  Try a bunch of variations and combonations of the two.  Like doing decending sets of Concentration curls trisetted with bench dips and pull ups.  In the summer and spring use the outdoors. Hang from trees and do leg raises, lift logs over your head and jog. There are so many things you can do using home workouts with dumbbells and bodyweight exercises.  Alot of people feel more comfortable at home any way.  Im a big fan of the home workout. It allows more room for the imagination.
