Why Paddle Tires Are Necessary

Tuesday, February 23rd, 2010

Have you ever tried to go through the dunes without a good set of paddle tires? Well, let me answer for you - it wasn’t a good experience. The whole idea behind these tires is that they ensure that all of the horsepower from your ATV, dirt bike, or buggy is transferred to the ground. Non paddle tires dig into the ground instead of pushing the vehicle along the sand - they instead dig down into the sand. Not exactly what will make you faster than your friends which as we know is the goal of riding with your buddies.

New Astra Excellence

Monday, February 22nd, 2010

I was looking at inexpensive camcorders on Priceline last night in an attempt to buy my girlfriend a nice Christmas present. We had been together for two years and are starting to get pretty serious. I finally found a good camcorder at a price that I really couldn’t pass up. What I really liked was the fact that they didn’t have any shipping charges. Just as I ordered the camcorder my girlfriend pulled into the driveway driving her New Astra. She bought the car at the beginning of the month. She really likes the fact she gets excellent mileage and its striking good looks.

exotics - oh how i love thee

Monday, February 22nd, 2010

i was going through some old pictures on my computer last night and found some of me at a car show about three years ago.  I don’t seem to have any pictures taken with people… just cars, cars, and more cars.  I have one of me sitting in the lexus i’d really like to buy (a gx-470) and by some porsches - pretty, but not in the colors i like (seal gray - is that too much to ask for?)

then there are some supercars that happened to be there.  i remember after going asking my insurance agent what it’d cost to insure something like an aston martin or a saleen.  he told me i’d have to go with a speciality insurer for an exotic car insurance policy.

Jeep Cherokee

Friday, February 19th, 2010

My family has always been involved in sports.  Some sports require more equipment than others, and when we were heavily involved in skiing, we really loved our Jeep Cherokee for its ability to handle all of our gear plus our family.  This is not to mention the all wheel drive capabilities that allowed to make it safely to more than one competition site that was difficult to reach. That was really one of our favorite family vehicles that we’ve ever owned.  Once we moved out of our skiing days, it was no longer necessary, but we still remember the days we spent with it, with fondness.

Finding a motorhome

Sunday, February 14th, 2010

Finding a motorhome at southwales motorhomes for sale which meets your requirements can be tricky, and you’re unlikely to find one which ‘ticks all the boxes’ straight away - the key is prioritising your needs. Write a list of things you need from your motorhome, not features as such but just broad requirements you have of your new investment, things such as ’sleeps 4 people comfortably’ or ’small enough to drive in European cities’. You can then use this list to figure out which models suit you best and which features are most important to you - doing things this way round ensures you aren’t convinced to buy a motorhome with fancy features you won’t use.

Auto insurance information guide

Thursday, February 11th, 2010

Auto Insurance as we all know is the insurance consumers purchase for their vehicle be it a car, truck or any other automobile. The purpose of auto insurance is to safeguard the vehicle against accidents, theft and any other loss incurred. Auto insurance can cover, the insured party, the insured vehicle and the third parties. Different policies specify the situations under which each of these items is covered. Like life insurance, auto insurance too has become the need of the hour. A surge in insecurity of the vehicles has resulted in many big and small companies venturing in this area and trying their luck. There are different types of auto insurances available. The policies vary with the need and wants of the people purchasing the policy. For example certain types of insurance policies include bodily injury liability, property damage liability, medical payments, and collision and comprehension coverage for physical damage to the insured vehicle. Broadly speaking an auto insurance policy is divided into five parts. 1.    Declarations- this part of policy contains personal information about the drivers in your house. This includes their name and address, make and model of the vehicle, vehicle identification number, policy number, duration etc. This part also comprises of basic type of coverage that you purchased and your policy limits and deductibles. It is very important to provide correct information in this area; otherwise the insurance claim can be declined at ease. 2.    Coverage Parts- in this option the coverage limits such as liability, medical, collision and comprehensive are discussed. This section primarily outlines what your insurance company guarantees to provide in return for your payment, based on the coverage and coverage limits opted. 3.    Exclusions- this section briefs about what is left uncovered by your policy’s limitations. From here you will get to know that what all will be covered when you make a claim and allows you to make rectifications in the policy. 4.    Conditions- this section is all about legitimacy i.e. the legal bindings on the insurer and the insured. It includes premium payment obligations, steps to filing a claim, and guidance to resolve disputes. 5.    Definitions- also known as fine print, this segment is where terms and the rights of the policyholder and the insurance company are defined. In several countries it is mandatory to purchase auto insurance before driving on public roads. The least requirement in this area is third party insurance to protect the third parties against the loss, damage or accident by a vehicle. You may or may not get an insurance cover against loss or damage to your own vehicle. While some other countries make the insurance of both the car and the driver compulsory. Car insurance plans a regular flat charge per-car or per year despite of the extent to which the car is used. There is no adequate statistical basis for the insurers to compare costs used to support price classifications. Other well known methods of differentiation are reasonable estimation, odometer based systems, GPS based system and OBDII-based system.

The website/blog I found on the Internet

Sunday, February 7th, 2010

In three weeks my wife’s birthday will be coming up and I wanted to get her something very special. Last year I had bought her a coffee maker and that certainly didn’t cut it with her. This year I’m looking for something with rubies and possibly sapphires. While roaming around the Internet I came to a website that interested me also. It was a blog that talked about windshield cost and where one should go. The windshield on my 1993 Volvo had been pitted with sand while I was driving through Utah and I needed to get it replaced. I guess I’ve just been lazy about it.

You love to listen to music, then I have something I really feel that you should purchase as soon as you can.  You really should look into finding the cheapest portable mp3 player that is highly reliable.  Sometimes the music on the radio is repetitive that you just don’t want to listen to it anymore.  But with this type of player you can listen to exactly what you want at any give time you desire.  I do this a few months ago and I have to say it was money well spent and I don’t think i will ever listen to the radio again.
