About six years ago my girlfriend started a publishing company that dealt with preschool programs. Essentially she put together an entire learning system utilized in home daycare settings. Her business had really taken off and she has lots of customers throughout the country. The one thing she cannot stand is spending hours on the phone collecting on some of her past invoices. She also wanted to put some debt-free working capital into expanding into new markets. Because of this she contacted a few companies that do factoring. She did this with the advice of her bookkeeper. It didn’t take too long for her to get these services from a reputable company.
