My brother and is wife are normally very careful people. We were totally surprised when they told us that they are now in the process of getting set up with a debt consolidation program. I guess they had been buying a little too freely and spending money they didn’t have when they used their credit cards too much. On top of that, neither one knew exactly what the other one was spending until all the extra charges started showing up. I feel really sorry for them, but I know they just feel stupid for letting things get so out of hand. I hope they recover quickly.
