Just recently, I have heard of several car dealers that are now putting their salesmen on salary instead of them working on commission. This really helps the salesmen in this struggling economy and the dealerships are using this as a method of attracting their customers to a hassle-free environment. With salesmen on salary, they will not be as pushy to make the sale and pressure buyers into quick purchases. I think this is a marvelous idea and more dealerships should take on this sales practice. I would choose to go to a dealership based on that fact alone. I hate pushy salesmen.
